Cascade Roadhouse: Your Go-To American Bar in Grand Rapids

We were pleased with our first meal here. Both of us are from out of town and my guest requested a steak. Once I saw the whitefish dip on the menu I knew I had to try it, as did my out-of-state guest. It was solid - not fresh out of Lake Superior served in the UP good, but solid. As a wings connoisseur, I also had to give the wings a whirl. They were solid, but nothing special and a little heavy of the buffalo sauce. We each enjoyed a ribeye for our main course and they came out cooked properly and were quite tasty. Definitely would go back again.

Breaded pork chop dinner was amazing with the best green beans I have ever eaten from a restaurant. They were soft not crunchy tasting fresh with good old fashioned diced potatoes.

Flew in to Grand Rapids after a work trip and needed a place for my wife and I to grab dinner before driving north. Showed up at dinner time on a Saturday night and the place was hopping! Waited about 15 minutes for a table and service was a little slow due to the dinner rush but we had the best waitress imaginable. Taylor was awesome! She was running crazy but was always around if we needed her, had personality to spare, and had "NO BS" answers about food recommendations which we appreciated. "Spinach artichoke dip is solid, order the prime rib medium rare instead of medium, the sirloin is my preference over the chicken parm, and get the asparagas over the broccoli." She was spot on! All the food was wonderful and reasonably priced. We did think the peanut butter pie slice was on the small side, but it was tasty and rich and I'm fluffy enough so no complaints. I would love to come back to the Roadhouse during the summer months when the outdoor bar and courtyard doesn't have to be enclosed and heated. The vibe is rustic/relaxed. Bottom line...Great stop. We really enjoyed our relaxed dinner. Taylor was excpetional and we'd come back just to sit in her section again.

I had the fish and chips and my wife had Southwest egg rolls. My wife enjoyed the egg rolls the fish and chips were okay. Service was a little slow overall it was good.

Cascade Roadhouse is a great place for casual dining. Just the right amount of selections on the menu so you won't get bogged down trying to figure out what you want. Apps, salads, burgers and sandwiches on the lunch menu and All that plus hearty entrees for the dinner menu. Checked in today with 10 people in our group and were seated nearly immediately in the outside dining area which actually is very cool (this time of year it was heated very well!) The building is a rustic lodge like log construction for the country feel. The staff was amazing as they always are and our orders were taken right away with food coming out accurately and relatively quick for a group our size. Cascade Roadhouse is also a great place for happy hour as well as other group gatherings. This place will always be on my rotation for food and drink.

Food Was Great, we enjoyed it, we had a big party and it was nice to stop by, Only issue we had was a grumpy old server. Kinda rude & snotty.

Cascade Roadhouse is one of my favorite places to eat. I love sitting in the outside heated area with the plastic walls up in the winter—it’s such a great atmosphere watching the snow fall while staying warm and comfortable. It’s just as great in the summer when the walls are down and everything is open and airy. I’ve taken family and business guests here year-round, and it’s always a win. The food, atmosphere, and overall experience never disappoint. Highly recommend!

Very good food and very cheap, and the place has a very pleasant atmosphere, excellent to go with friends and family.
